Participating OrganizationsKing County Snapshots grew out of a 2001-2003 National Leadership Grant for Library-Museum Collaboration from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). Led by the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI), a major regional history museum, and the University of Washington Libraries, a major state university library system, the collaboration included ten smaller historical organizations belonging to the Association of King County Historical Organizations (AKCHO).
