Shoreline Historical MuseumHoused in the historic Ronald Elementary School, the Shoreline Historical Museum preserves, records and interprets the history of the Shoreline area and its relationship to the Northwest. The archive of 6,000 photos and the collection of 5,000 artifacts tell the story of local neighborhood development. The images selected and scanned for this Web site date from 1889 through the 1950s and feature Shoreline's early settlers, the development of the community along the Interurban rail line, Aurora Avenue businesses, and Playland amusement park. |
