Toys and Miniatures

Wood carverThe Makah realm of childhood and adulthood merged into one another. Small bows and reed arrows; miniature-or model-canoes, bailers, harpoons, and clubs; tiny baskets and cradles have come from Ozette.

However, small things aren't necessarily toys. They may have been intended as scale models, gifts, or ornaments, illustrations of stories, or for use in ceremonies.
