Contributions

The Community Museum Project was led by UW Libraries and UW Educational Partnerships and Learning Technologies. Most grant-related work was performed at Peninsula College in Forks and at the UW Libraries. Peninsula-based tribes and cultural organizations participated in the preparation of online exhibitions and related community activities on their culture and history. The North Olympic Library System, Forks Timber Museum, the National Park Service, Clallam County Historical Society and UW Libraries identified and digitized items from their collections. Peninsula College donated computer lab time. The UW Center for the Study of the Pacific Northwest prepared curriculum materials and the Quillayute Valley School District reviewed these curriculum materials. Preston Gates & Ellis, LLP advised on intellectual property and other legal issues.
