Robert Shields (1917-) received his B. Arch from the University of Washington in 1941. He was a partner in Tucker, Shields, & Terry, Architects, Seattle (1946-51); partner, Tucker & Shields Architects, 1951-1958. Notable structures include Canlis Charcoal Brouler, Seattle (1949-1951); Burnett House, Seattle (1950); Denman House, and Hilltop, Bellevue (1956-7).
