These photographs were taken to Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) standards as part of the Federal Energy and Regulatory Commission's re-licensing of the Skagit River Project, 1987-1989.

The incline railway was built in 1927 on Sourdough Mountain to facilitate construction of Diablo Dam.
