The Gorge Dam and Powerhouse were built by Seattle City Light and completed in September of 1924.

Caption on duplicate image: Interior of two mile tunnel serving Gorge Power House. Tunnel is 20' 6" inside diameter and supplies three 10' diameter penstocks. Capacity 112, 500 H.P.
