This
photograph
shows
the
present
Dayton
Public
School
Plant.
The
building
at the
right
is
the
Central
Building
and
houses
the
elementary
school
grades
(1-8).
This
building
was
built
in
1903
and
replaced
the
wooden
building
built
in
1880.
It
also
housed
the
high
school
works
until
1923
when
the
new
high
school
building
was
built.
The
other
elementary
school
buildings
have been
abandoned
and
all
of the
elementary
school
works
is
carried
on in the
central
Building.
The
building
at the
left
is
the
High
School
Building
,
built
in the
summer
of
1923.
It
houses
all
of the
high
school
works
grades
(9-12).
