| Contextual Notes | Eugene M. Weaver was born in Circleville, Ohio in 1879. During the summer of 1909, Weaver and his wife Zana Taylor took a trip to Seattle and Canada and photographed their journey. The couple settled in Sonoma County in 1911 and operated a vineyard and orchard in the Dry Creek district. Weaver ran the orchard and vineyard till one year before his death in 1952. |
