NotesCaption in album: A View Of The Lake. The camera for this picture was posed close to the bathhouse and the west end of the pavilion is shown. The two large tree stumps shown to the right are the remains of mammoth fir trees and I intend later to build an observatory on top of these stumps. The character of the mountains opposite "Qui Si Sana" is nicely shown here.
