| Notes | Caption in album: Moonlight On The Lake. Can you imagine moonlight playing over these mountains and on these lake waters? I shall never forget one night last June when the full moon crept along the ridge you see to the right of this picture. Now the moon shone full above the forest against the skyline, then it would sink as a higher peak came in its path; then again it would come forth as a valley or a depression in the range permitted it. Then it went down, and all we had was the wondrous light playing on the gliding clouds. If one will, such a night as this is a grand poem.
