NotesOn verso of image: This photo is the old Lige Taylor Hotel. Mr. Taylor had a ranch across the Skykomish River. Later the George Mann's had the hotel there and still later their son-in-law Andy Murphy. Pearsall came next in order as proprietor. The building appearing at the turn of the road was on the Stevens property. The first shake hotel can be seen at the rear of this hotel.
