On verso of image: Mack School Bus--Union High School District No. 4, Sedro Wooley, Wash. This school operates seven school buses, six under contract. Mack is the first the district has bought outright. This bus operates between Sedro Wooley and Lyman, a distance of 10 miles, then from Sedro Wooley to Clear Lake, a distance of five miles, making a total mileage of sixty miles a day. Seating arrange is so planned in these buses that many more children may be carried than the specified number of adults. It is not a questions of the carrying capacity of the bus but one of bulk which determines how many riders a bus may carry. |
