| Contextual Notes | Photographs of the construction of the Lake Washington Floating Bridge (later renamed the Lacey V. Murrow Memorial Bridge) which was under construction from December 29, 1939, to July 2, 1940. Thomas Neill was director of public relations for the Washington State Toll Bridge Authority during the construction of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and the Lake Washington Floating Bridge.
