DescriptionLate Byzantine glazed ware base. Fine white inclusions, probably limestone, a few rounded voids. Base and high ring foot, glazed on exterior of foot and probably on int of vessel. Dark brown on ext w/ white bands. Yellowish-green on int. Glaze poorly preserved and flaking. Diameter of base (ext.): 6 cm. Import? Fabric different from CAV-01-1 and Pinarcik material. Color of fresh fracture: 5YR 7/6. Color of interior and exterioir: 5YR 7/6. Found on slope beneath cave complex.
