DescriptionPIN-98-1 - Middle-Late Byzantine plain ware basin rim. Iron rich clay matrix with quartz and lime inclusions. Brown inclusions and voids. Two parallel lines of intermittent incised dashes on top of flat rim. Flanged rim of basin. Upper portion of body 1.1 cm thick. Color of fresh fracture: 5YR 5/8. Color of exterior finish: 5YR 4/4. Color of interior finish: reddish brown. Rim diameter (interior): 30 cm. Rim diameter (exterior): 35 cm. PIN-98-2 - Roman-Early Byzantine plain ware base. Iron rich clay matrix with quartz inclusions, probably some limestone, voids and some brown inclusions. Flat base most probably body to a jar/cooking pot, wheel marks on interior, scorched areas. Color of exterior finish: 5YR 5/4 reddish brown. Color of interior finish: 10R 5/6 red. Base diameter (exterior): 20 cm. PIN-98-3 - Late Roman-Early Byzantine plain ware flagon rim. Thickened and rounded rim and portion of cylindrical neck. Some ribs on exterior, incutation on inside of rim. Color of fresh fracture: 7.5YR 5/6. Color of exterior finish: 5YR 6/6 reddish yellow. Rim diameter (exterior): 10 cm.
