DescriptionMid-late Roman fine ware bowl rim. White inclusions, possibly quartz, rounded voids, some dark inclusions. Fragmentary bowl with upright rim with thin groove on exterior at meeting point with body. Locally or regionally produced. Interior surface broken. Exterior slip, poorly preserved. Diameter is less than 10% of whole vessel. Impossible to measure exactly. Color of fresh fracture: 5YR 7/8. Color of exterior: 2.5YR 4/8. Rim diameter (ext.): 24 cm. Found in North Churches (transect 1).
