| Contextual Notes | Frederick H. Kiser was first active with his brother Oscar H. Kiser as the Kiser Brother studio in Warrendale, Oregon. After Oscar died, Frederick moved to Portland where he operated Kiser Photographic Company from 1905-1921 and then Kiser scenic Photo Studio from 1923-1925. Kiser was a major commerical photographer, and was the official photographer for the Lewis and Clark Exposition. |
