Impromptu parade in Puyallup, Washington, on November 11, 1918. Told that the Great War had ended, children gathered in small neighborhood groups to celebrate. The poster on the wagon reads: HURRAY! THE WAR IS OVER!! FATHER AND BROTHER ARE COMING HOME TO HELL WITH THE KAISER THAT'S WHERE HE BELONGS (Submitted by Victor B. Scheffer, b.1906, who stands in the third rank holding the smaller flag.
