organizing
in
Seattle
in
1904.
Seattle
Asahi
Club's
baseball
team
was
formed
in
1912
by
some
players
from the
Mikado
team
, an
early
Issei
(first
generation
immigrant)
team
and
players
from the
Cherry
baseball
team
composed
of
Nisei
(second
generation).
By
1919
, the
Asahi
Club
sponsored
three
baseball
teams.
