Contextual NotesEdward Baker Scriven served in France from ca. 1917-1918. After he the war Scriven appeared in France with an entertainment troupe at RSO shows (1918-1919). After moving to Seattle in 1924, Scriven became a member of the Ralston Club's Male Chorus in 1930 and was also an active member of the Seattle Civic Opera.
