| Historical Notes | Ballet Folklórico de México is a folkloric ballet ensemble from Mexico City. For five decades it has performed dances, ballets, and musical pieces that reflect the various regions and folk music genres of Mexico, with a special emphasis on the traditions of indigenous Mesoamerican culture. The ensemble performed from August 27 through September 2 at the Opera House during the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. |
