On verso of image: In observation tower is the Chinese Temple, cost $30, 000 to embelish. Walls and ceilings of hand carved teak wood are inset with 776 semi-porcelain discs, representing historic tablets from renowned Chinese Temples. Also 40 bronze lanterns and gorgeous Oriental furniture.
