| Historical Notes | St. Mark's Cathedral is located on 1245 10th Ave. East in Seattle, Washington. The building was designed by San Francisco architects Brown and Champney and is a simpler version of the original Gothic design. Construction on the building began in 1928. Most of the structure is made out of concrete slabs. The building's nick name is "The Holy Box" due to its cube shape. |
