| Photographer | Unknown |
| Date | 1962 |
| Notes | The Century 21 Exposition took place between April 21 and October 21, 1962 and is also known as the Seattle World's Fair.
Also known as the International Business Machines Corporation Pavilion and the "New Paths to Knowledge" exhibit.
"The [IBM] Pavilion on Friendship Mall shows in non-technical terms how computers are used to build new and wider paths to greater knowledge. The computer's almost universal application to problems in business, industry, government and science has added a new dimension to information processing and control. It is this new dimension in today's world and in the world of the 21st century that the IBM exhibit examines... A pool in the central garden forms the backdrop for a display which describes the historical development of man's technological and artistic accomplishments, beginning with the first crude tools and the first attempts at artistic expression." (Century 21 Exposition. (1962). Official Guide Book, Seattle World's Fair 1962. Seattle: Acme Publications. p. 56)
