|Title||Aerial view of United States Science Pavilion, Century 21 Exposition, 1962 |
|Notes||The Century 21 Exposition took place between April 21 and October 21, 1962 and is also known as the Seattle World's Fair.|
Also known as the World of Science, and now known as the Pacific Science Center.
"The [World of Science] is housed in the six-acre, six-unit Science Pavilion in the southwest corner of the fairgrounds. In the middle of the complex is a court of fountains and pools bridged by raised platforms leading to the buildings. Open arches rising over the court establish its space gothic architectural theme and serve as a distinctive landmark." (Century 21 Exposition. (1962). Official Guide Book, Seattle World's Fair 1962. Seattle: Acme Publications. p. 8)
