Excerpt from text: The purpose of the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition is to exploit the immense resources and potentialities of the Alaska and Yukon territories of the United States and the Dominion of Canada. Further, to make known the vast importance and to foster trade of, the Pacific Ocean and the countries bordering upon it. In addition it will demonstrate the marvelous progress of Western America.
