Background information: Paragraph 3--The first Trips Festival was held at the Eagles Temple auditorium (of the Fraternal Order of Eagles) on March 19, 1967. Paragraph 5--Helix was a biweekly, underground newspaper first published on March 23, 1967, by a group of volunteer workers.
