| Notes | Caption to right of image: This house stood on Yesler, southside opposite the Occidental Hotel. In the middle 1860s Gardner and David Kellogg had the drugstore; A.S. Pinkham the variety store, and E.M. Sammis the photography gallery. Sammis built the house. He was Seattle's early photographer, tho a man named Clark took pictures here before Sammis.
