| Title | 2.110 Blackwell & Kelly Hotel, Tacoma. |
| Photographer | Unknown |
| Date | n.d. |
| Notes | Caption to right of photo: The building shown herein was the hotel of Blackwell & Kelly. erected in 1873 by the Northern Pacific Co. at Tacoma. It stood on the first wharf, up the bay from the Tacoma Mill, where it stands today (1911). Telegraph, express, railroad and hotel offices were on first floor. The view is from the south. No other commercial enterprises were in that part of Tacoma's waterfront in 1873-74. Caption beneath photo: These two views were sent to me by L.J. Hatch, who lived at New Tacoma in 1874. They are reprints, of course. TWP
