Contextual NotesMilton Loryea was first active in San Francisco in the 1880's. He partnered with John W. Macaulay in San Jose, California before working with his brother Archibold Loryea between 1886-1890. He began photographing in Spokane, Washington in 1893 and continued working there till 1914.
