| Notes | This letter was sent by the General Strike Committee of the Seattle Central Labor Council to the Tacoma Central Labor Council on February 3, 1919. It introduces three representatives of Seattle's General Strike Committee who have been designated to address the Tacoma Council to inform them of the date and time for the impending Seattle general strike, and to encourage Tacoma's Council to call a general strike for the same date and time: they are Hulet M. Wells, James A. Crowe, and Oscar Dozier. The letter is signed by Charles W. Doyle, the Strike Committee's secretary, and a handwritten note on this copy records that the measure was concurred in on February 4, 1919. |
