| Author | unknown |
| Date of Publication | 1962 |
| Notes | This letter, sent from leaders in Seattle's labor movement to Joseph Gandy, the President of the Seattle World's Fair, on July 20, 1962, credits Gandy for his consistent support of organized labor. They specifically thank him for his regular public acknowledgment of organized labor's willingness to sign a no-strike agreement, and they praise Frederick Schumacher and Max Burland for their success in coordinating a project "second only to the Grand Coulee Dam in size and complexity". They particularly commend Schumacher's work and note the loss to the World's Fair Corporation that they anticipate as Schumacher leaves his position in August. |
