| Notes | This document is a resolution submitted to the Tacoma Central Labor Council by the Women's Branch of the Soldiers', Sailors' & Workmen's Council of Tacoma on April 15, 1919, requesting that they be granted representation on the Central Labor Council. The resolution notes that "the women of Tacoma are not as active as they should be" in promoting labor activism and organization, and affirms to the Central Labor Council that "the women of Tacoma could do you lots of good in establishing conditions that should exist". The resolution is submitted by "Miss E. F. Verrill", the Women's Branch secretary, to "Mr. A. L. Dickson" of the Central Labor Council. A handwritten note on this copy of the resolution records that, on April 16, 1919, it was concurred in by the C. L. C. |
