| Notes | This is the charter issued by the International Typographical Union to a newly founded local union #355, in New Whatcom and Fairhaven, Washington, dated April 18, 1890. It bears the names of the local's founders as well as the signature of the secretary and treasurer of the International Typographical Union, J. W. Bramwood, and the International's president, Samuel B. Donnelly. A handwritten note on the charter adds that the local union's name was changed to the Bellingham Typographical Union on April 6, 1905. |
