NotesHandwritten on verso: WW1 anti-war picnic-July, 1916, Edmonds. Man with pipe & beard: Mayor Yost. Man in overalls with Mayor: Mr. Bartlett.

Mayor Yost is probably Allen M. Yost who served one term as the mayor of Edmonds in 1903 and was several times on the city council. He was politically a Socialist. He died in August of 1915.
