| Notes | Image information taken from the North Olympic Library System's Kellogg Master Index, including the following notes: Dave Burrowes Logging camp, 1913; near Sequim or Little River; top, left to right: Dave Humes, Chris Burrowes, Charles Daugherty, Lottie Jewett, Harry Jewett with kitten on shoulder; bottom: Mr. Gromley, Frank or Harris Ingraham, George Main, Bert Wilder holding cat, Jim or Jas Burrowes; men in foreground wearing calk 'cork' boots; tent in background. Cataloger: Bert Wilder's granddaughter informed the Library that Bert lost his leg in May 1912 in a logging accident according to the May 4, 1912 edition of the Sequim Press. Therefore this photo must have been taken before that time, as Bert has both legs in this picture. |
