NotesSlide shows a four wheel drive international harvester vehicle that was flipped on its top from the explosion of Mount St. Helens. Our helicopter pilot told us that he had been up there when they were trying to rescue the people. He landed here to rescue the people that were supposedly up there. A young man and his date were crushed under the roll bar of their car. They were watching the sunrise over Mount St. Helens Sunday morning when the explosion occurred.
