Site locationAerial view of dome
NotesAerial view of the area right around the edge of the dome where we would try to do our sampling during the 1981 visit to the crater. You can see the edge of the dome coming down and the floor of the crater to the right. The edge is where we wanted to do our sampling at those vents because it was the easiest place to have access to without climbing into any dangerous locations.
Subjects (LCSH)Sampling volcanic ash, tuff, etc.
