Site locationInside of crater
NotesDave Anderson and Bill Zoller, with our little vests, are preparing to do sampling inside the crater. We're standing on a lot of old broken up areas where mud and volcanic ash formed a little lake. The water had evaporated, leaving kind of a crusty, broken surface. This was a good flat spot to land a helicopter, put our equipment out, and then move from here to the vents to do our sampling.
