[Meed journal: "... Progress there was frequently impeded by trees overhanging the channel, their roots along the banks having been washed and loosened by the currents. It was necessary to saw them off and clear a course...."

Photographs taken on trip by the steamboat PROSPECTOR in August 1901. It was the first navigation of the Pelly and MacMillan Rivers by a steamboat.
