| Notes | The school administration encouraged football and other sports for physical fitness and group camaraderie. Football players identified in this photo are: Charlie Bone (Upper Skagit, second from left); Robert Shelton (Snohomish, standing behind boy with ball); and Al ("Fat") Sampson (Upper Skagit, second from right in front row).

Photographer Ferd Brady had a studio in Marysville, Washington from 1907 to 1910, then moved to Everett, and finally settled in Anacortes in the 1920s. In the 1910s, he had a government contract to photograph the people and activities at the Tulalip Indian School, near Marysville. Brady closed his Everett studio in 1952 and died in 1967.
