NotesNote from Garfield Volume: Eagle Leg House ruins, Old Kasaan. Grave markers on either side.

Note from unidentified source: Eagle-leg house and two mortuary posts, Kasaan. On the left-hand pole are two eagles on a nest with a frog on the front of the shaft. The eagle and bear are carved on the other post. These were taken to New Kasaan for the Totem Park. The carved beam supports represent the eagle's leg with the beam held in the claws.
