Chief Klakwagila translates to "Coppermaker".

Note from unidentified source: House of Chief Klakwagila, Alert Bay, B.C.; women with baskets and mat seated in front, three hiding behind blankets. "Chief Klakwagila, of Kingcom [sic] Inlet, B.C. broke a copper valued, 11500 blankets" written on sign over door. Same setting as NA2765.
