| Notes | Studio portrait of two older Yakama couples, ca. 1900-1910. One couple identified as Chief White Swan and his wife Martha. The other man identified as George Water, a regular ordained minister in the Columbia River conference and his wife.
The minister wears western style dress. The other man and two women are in ceremonial dress. The man wears a fur and feather headdress & jacket with fur decorations over western style dress; the two women wear the basket-style hats, beaded bags, necklaces and blankets over their shoulders. They are posed in front of a painted backdrop.
