| Notes | Studio portrait of three Yakama women and a Nez Perce man, ca. 1894-1899. Two of the women are seated in wicker chairs; the other woman and the man stand behind. The women wear blankets around their shoulders, earrings and necklaces, bracelets and rings. Beaded bags are displayed near the feet of the seated women. The man wears a decorated wide-brimmed hat, earrings, necklaces and beaded trousers and moccasins. They are posed on a fur blanket, in front of a painted backdrop of an arbor.
