| Notes | The Snoqualmie, who never received a reservation of their own following the signing of the 1855 Point Elliott Treaty, tried for years to obtain land from the federal government. Jerry Kanim's uncle, Pat Kanim, signed the treaty, and some of his descendents are pictured here. On February 21, 1948, Jerry Kanim and representatives of several other tribes met at Eagles Hall in Carnation, Washington, to discuss means of pressing their land settlement case.
