| Notes | Thirtyeight people who attended a meeting between the Kootenai and Capt. John Webster, U.S. Indian Agent, pose in front of a building. The meeting was held at Bonner's Ferry in the A.J. Kents Real Estate Office. Mr. kent was acting on behald of the Kootenais so the government could build a school for them. The chief of the Kootenais from 1900-1916, Isidore Chiquiet held the meeting with Capt. Webster, an agent of the Colville Indian Agency, Colville Indian Reservation. In order to have the school built, Chiquiet agreed to have his tribe enrolled under the Colville Agency.
