Handwritten on verso: 16092. Crevasse Lyman Glacier, Rail road Creek, Lake Chelan. Colors in a deep crevasse are light blue-deep blue green to deep purple to black. One finds many interesting things on a glacier besides crevasses. Water pockets, water wells, sun cups, thin cracks in the ice that will in time become crevasses, little streams of water running over the surface of the ice to disappear down a small fissure.
