Down in the depths water was heard running and dropping a rock could hear it rattle from side to side before it hit bottom. Ice was colored in blues and deep purples. Note, snow bridge at bottom of photo a danger spot if one attempted to cross.[on another image] Crevase [sic.] Lyman Glacier, head of Railroad Creek, Lake Chelan. Johnnie Dorwin looking in.
